Mon., 1/8 - Classes resume
Reading: We will complete our mythology unit. The students will continue to present their projects this week. All projects are due on Monday. We will also read together the Time For Kids magazine. We will focus on how to go back into the text to locate answers and use clues to make inferences about the topic. These skills will help the students in taking the weekly quiz.
English: We will continue to work on our writing skills through narrative writing.
Spelling/Vocabulary: There will not be a spelling test next week.
Social Studies: We will read and learn how the Cherokee have contributed to the history of the Southeast.
Mrs. Bucklin's Math Class:. We will complete Unit 3, Fractions and Decimals. The Unit test will be given on Wednesday, December 20th. A practice test was sent home on Thursday. We will review for the test Monday and Tuesday.
