Our Naper Settlement field trip is on Friday. Students should dress for the weather. Many of the activities are outside. Also, they will each need a sack lunch with a drink, all completely disposable.

March 20 -- Teacher Institute -- No School
March 23-- Naper Settlement field trip
March 26 -- Spring Break Begins
April 10th-- Too Good for Drugs graduation
Reading: This week we will begin a unit on China. The students will learn about China's climate, geography, animals, and plants. Later in the week they will begin a brochure of China.
English: In English we will continue Expository Writing. The students will be writing an essay on a person they admire.
Spelling: Unit 25--Homework is due on Thursday and test is Friday.
Science: This week we will continue chapter 11, Weather and the Water Cycle. We will read and learn how weather conditions are measured and how these measurements can be used to predict the weather.
Social Studies: We will begin chapter 10 after the break.
Mrs. Bucklin's Math Class: We will complete "Fractions" this week. We will learn how to compare and order fractions along with changing fractions into decimals. There will be a test on Thursday.
