Week of December 11th

Reading:  We will continue with our mythology unit.  A mythology project that focuses on personalized learning was introduced last week.  Students may choose to work individually or in a small group to complete a project from a given list. Each group will be assigned a different myth. The project will include a written piece and a presentation. Students will be given time in class the week of 12/11 but should expect to do some work outside of class as well. The mythology project will be due on 12/18. The project has been posted in Google Classroom  if you are interested in viewing the details.

Spelling/Vocabulary:   We will continue to work on spelling and vocabulary from our Mythology unit. There will be a test Thursday, December 14th

Social Studies: Southeast Scrapbooks are due Tuesday,  December 12th. Presentations will begin on Thursday.

Science:  We will complete a unit on  Life Cycles of Plants and Animals. . The chapter test is  Wednesday, December 13th. A study guide to help prepare for the test was sent home on Friday.


Mrs. Bucklin's Math Class:.  We will complete Unit 3, Fractions and Decimals. A checkpint quiz for Module three will be given on Monday. The students have a review sheet to help prepare for the quiz. They may use the review and notes while taking the quiz.  The Unit test will be given on Wednesday, December 20th.
